Job Description
Job Summary
- As a BD Analyst, you are the engine of our growth—finding, engaging, and securing the partnerships that expand our impact across Africa.
How You'll Make an Impact
- We are looking for high-octane Business Development Analysts who are masters of the "first touch." Whether you are a professional with deep roots in Energy, Financial Services, Logistics, FMCG, Hospitality, or Oil & Gas, or an emerging B2B professional with a hunger for B2B networking, your role is to open doors.
- You will be responsible for the full top-of-funnel lifecycle: from cold calling and email outreach to representing EISS at major industry conferences and events. You don't just find leads; you build the bridge that turns a prospect into a long-term partner.
What You'll Do
Core BD Operations (Junior & Senior):
- High-Volume Outreach: Execute a "5:5:4" strategy (Cold Calls, Cold Emails, and Field Outreach) to maintain a warm pipeline.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate partnership meetings between prospects and the BD leadership.
- Event Representation: Attend conferences and networking events to generate high-value leads.
- CRM Management: Maintain 100% accuracy in the CRM and pipeline database.
The Specializations:
- Junior BD Analyst: Focus on general B2B lead generation.
- Senior BD Analyst: Focus on Contingency Solutions and leverage specialized experience in FMCG, Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Logistics, or Financial Services to close complex deals
What We're Looking For
Professional & Technical Strengths:
- Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc) in any discipline.
- Context: For Industry Specialists, a degree related to their vertical (e.g., Engineering for Oil & Gas, or Finance for Financial Services) is an advantage.
- Senior: 2-3 years in corporate sales within specialized sectors (FMCG, Energy, Fintech, etc.).
- Junior: 1+ year in B2B sales with a solid understanding of cold calling and networking.
- Skills: Expert-level proposal drafting and lead generation techniques.
- Communication: Ability to hold professional conversations at all levels of a corporate hierarchy.
- Organization: Impeccable pipeline management skills; you never let a lead go cold.
Leadership & Interpersonal Strengths:
- Persistence: You see a "no" as a "not yet" and have the grit to follow up effectively.
- Resilience: Comfortable in high-pressure, target-driven environments.
- Curiosity: A natural researcher who stays updated on industry trends and market shifts
