Job Description




  • The WIMA Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff, goods, and official materials while ensuring proper vehicle maintenance and compliance with road safety regulations.

  • The ideal candidate must be highly familiar with routes across Northern Nigeria, particularly Kaduna and surrounding states, and capable of handling long-distance official assignments efficiently.



Key Responsibilities




  • Safely transport staff, visitors, and materials to designated locations.

  • Ensure timely delivery and pickup of goods and official documents.

  • Be conversant with road networks across *Northern Nigeria, especially Kaduna and surrounding areas*.

  • Plan efficient travel routes and manage inter-state trips professionally.

  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.

  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure roadworthiness at all times.

  • Report faults, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly.

  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and servicing.

  • Ensure all vehicle documentation is valid and up to date.

  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws and organizational transport policies.

  • Assist with loading and offloading items when necessary.

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent conduct while on duty.

  • Timeliness and efficiency of trips

Qualifications and Requirements




  • Minimum of SSCE/OND qualification with 5 years and above proven driving experience*, preferably within corporate or organizational settings.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Must be highly familiar with *Northern Nigeria routes, especially Kaduna*.

  • Good knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel when required.
