Job Summary
- We are seeking a strategic and highly experienced Head of Procurement to lead procurement operations across our retail business.
- The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of retail/supermarket procurement, supplier management, cost optimization, and inventory planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies
- Lead and manage the procurement team across all purchasing functions
- Drive cost reduction and value optimization initiatives
- Build and manage strong supplier and vendor relationships
- Oversee procurement planning to ensure stock availability
- Monitor procurement budgets and spending controls
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procurement regulations
- Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking
- Provide procurement insights and reports to executive management

Requirements
- BSc Degree / HND in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–8 years procurement experience, with leadership experience in retail/supermarket
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong financial and analytical capability
- Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and Excel
- Must reside withinVI, or nearby areas.
