Job Overview

Hempawa Consult is recruiting on behalf of a client for the role of Architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architectural design execution, preparation of working drawings, site supervision, and coordination of project delivery from concept to implementation.

The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to resolve on-site design and construction challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings and working documents using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or AutoCAD


• Develop 3D visualisations and renderings for presentations using tools such as Lumion, Vray, or Twinmotion


• Interpret and communicate architectural drawings effectively to artisans and project teams on-site


• Conduct site supervision to ensure alignment between design specifications and project execution


• Take accurate physical site measurements and document site conditions appropriately


• Prepare schedules, specifications, and project-related documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel


• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design drawings and live site conditions


• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and quality project delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline


• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, ArchiCAD, or AutoCAD


• Strong knowledge of rendering and visualisation tools such as Lumion, Vray, or Twinmotion


• Good understanding of architectural detailing and site coordination


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and within project timelines


• Previous site supervision experience is an added advantage
