As a Technical Engineer at PITAM WATER NG, you will be a key member of our operations team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our advanced water treatment and bottling systems. You'll leverage your existing technical expertise to ensure our production lines operate at peak efficiency while meeting the highest quality and safety standards.



You'll work with cutting-edge technology, solve complex technical challenges, and play a crucial role in driving operational excellence across our facilities in Delta State.



What We Look For in You




  • Education: OND/HND/B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering field

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in beverage production, water treatment, bottling operations, or industrial manufacturing environments

  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment in high-speed production environments

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to diagnosing technical issues

  • Proficiency with computer systems and maintenance management software

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different locations within Delta State as needed

  • Knowledge of safety protocols and quality management systems (ISO, HACCP, or similar) is a plus



Key Responsibilities




  • Install, commission, maintain, and optimize water treatment and bottling equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues in production systems

  • Conduct preventive maintenance programs and develop strategies to minimize downtime

  • Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation

  • Lead technical projects and collaborate with senior engineers on system improvements and upgrades

  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, water quality parameters, and production metrics

  • Train and mentor junior technical staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts inventory, and equipment performance

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
