- As a Nursery Teacher, you will foster early childhood development by creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children aged 3–5.
- They design play-based lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth, while monitoring child progress and maintaining regular communication with parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities (e.g., play-based learning, arts, and crafts).
- Child Development: Fostering social, emotional, and physical growth through positive reinforcement and interaction.
- Safety and Care: Ensuring a secure, clean, and inclusive classroom environment that complies with health and safety standards.
- Assessment & Reporting: Tracking individual child progress, maintaining records of developmental milestones, and sharing updates with parents.
- Collaboration: Working with assistants, staff, and parents to support children's learning and welfare.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Typically requires a Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a relevant qualification.
- Passion: Strong dedication to working with young children.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for dealing with children and parents.
- Patience: High levels of patience, creativity, and energy to manage young children effectively.
Common Qualifications:
