Job Summary
- The Accountant (Risk & Audit) manages financial records while integrating risk assessment and internal control functions into daily accounting operations.
- The role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and proactive identification and mitigation of financial and operational risks.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and monitor financial and operational risks.
- Develop and implement internal control procedures to mitigate risk exposure.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and control reviews.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitor fraud risks, financial irregularities, and internal control weaknesses.
- Prepare risk reports and present findings to management.
- Support the implementation of enterprise risk management (ERM) frameworks.
