Job Summary




  • As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director / Associate Partner to lead client acquisition, strengthen market presence, and drive revenue growth.

  • This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving client acquisition, revenue generation, and strategic growth initiatives.

  • The ideal candidate is a credible, well-networked, and charismatic professional with a proven track record of originating business and building long-term client relationships.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute the firm’s revenue growth strategy

  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across sectors

  • Advise leadership on market trends and expansion opportunities

  • Deepen relationships with existing clients

  • Work closely with partners and legal teams



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)




  • Revenue growth and new client acquisition

  • Number and value of deals originated

  • Increase in retained/recurring clients

  • Expansion of referral networks

  • Growth in key industry sectors

  • Improved client retention and cross-selling

  • Strong business development pipeline reporting



Requirements




  • 10–15 years experience in business development, consulting, banking, legal or professional services

  • Experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or financial institution

  • Understanding of corporate/commercial legal services

  • MBA, Law degree, or relevant professional qualification (advantage)

  • Proven track record in revenue generation and client acquisition

  • Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills

  • Established network within corporate and financial sectors

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Strategic thinker with strong execution ability
