Job Description
- Own the growth plan for the investment app; deliver against funded-accounts, AUM-per-user, deposit-frequency, and 6-month retention targets agreed with the Head of Growth.
- Build a growth strategy that recognises the long sales cycle inherent in wealth products, content, education, trust, and credibility-building, not just performance ads.
- Lead the editorial and content engine that positions Amaanah as the trusted home for values-aligned investing among young Nigerian professionals.
- Own the content calendar across blog, video, social, in-app, and email, practical financial education, market context, and product explainers.
- Drive measurable growth in deposit frequency and AUM per active user, not just account opening.
- Champion product changes that move customers up the savings-and-investment ladder over time.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (minimum Second Class Upper) in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Communications, or a related field.
- Master's degree is welcome but not required.
- Professional certifications in digital and growth marketing, content strategy, or financial communications are desirable.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 6–8 years of growth, digital marketing, or commercial experience, with at least 2–3 years owning a meaningful growth P&L for a wealth, savings, or investment product.
- Demonstrable experience scaling a consumer wealth or savings app in Nigeria or a comparable market, with measurable AUM and retention outcomes.
- Strong content and editorial sensibility; can brief, edit, and ship financial content that is both credible and engaging.
- Hands-on performance marketing fluency, but with the maturity to know when paid spend is the wrong tool.
- Strong analytics fluency — funnel, cohort, deposit-behaviour, and AUM-economics dashboards.
- Personal alignment with a values-led financial business; able to engage young professionals on ethical investing themes with conviction.
