Job Summary




  • We are seeking an experienced Group Deputy Director – Sales to provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple business units and regions within a leading FMCG company.

  • The ideal candidate will drive sales growth, market expansion, distribution efficiency, and commercial excellence across a multi-brand portfolio.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share growth.

  • Lead direct and indirect sales channels including distributors, retail, exports, and e-commerce.

  • Drive effective primary and secondary sales management across regions.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.

  • Develop pricing, promotion, and route-to-market strategies.

  • Build strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and business partners.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and R&D teams on new product launches and category expansion.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage sales teams to deliver business targets.

  • Develop sales SOPs, incentive plans, and performance management systems.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.

  • Minimum of 12 years’ sales experience within the FMCG industry, with at least - 5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Strong experience managing multi-brand/product portfolios and large sales teams.

  • Excellent leadership, commercial, negotiation, and analytical skills.
