Job Summary




  • Afripoint Group Limited is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented IT Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth by identifying opportunities, promoting IT solutions, and closing sales deals with clients across various sectors.

  • The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of technology products/services alongside excellent sales and relationship management skills.



Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:




  • Identify and generate new business opportunities for the company’s IT products and services

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients

  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.



Client Engagement:




  • Understand customer business needs and recommend suitable IT solutions

  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals

  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and ongoing negotiations

  • Provide excellent customer support before and after sales



Technical Support & Solution Selling:




  • Explain technical products/services clearly to clients

  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions

  • Assist clients in understanding system functionality and benefits

  • Escalate technical issues where necessary.



Reporting & Documentation:




  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports

  • Update CRM systems and pipeline tracking tools regularly



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields

  • Professional certifications in sales or IT are an added advantage



Experience:




  • Minimum of 2–4 years experience in IT sales or technical sales

  • Proven experience in selling technology products or digital solutions



Required Skills:




  • Strong understanding of IT products and services

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Negotiation and relationship management skills

  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
