Job Summary
- Afripoint Group Limited is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented IT Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth by identifying opportunities, promoting IT solutions, and closing sales deals with clients across various sectors.
- The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of technology products/services alongside excellent sales and relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities for the company’s IT products and services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
Client Engagement:
- Understand customer business needs and recommend suitable IT solutions
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and ongoing negotiations
- Provide excellent customer support before and after sales
Technical Support & Solution Selling:
- Explain technical products/services clearly to clients
- Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized solutions
- Assist clients in understanding system functionality and benefits
- Escalate technical issues where necessary.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
- Update CRM systems and pipeline tracking tools regularly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
- Professional certifications in sales or IT are an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum of 2–4 years experience in IT sales or technical sales
- Proven experience in selling technology products or digital solutions
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT products and services
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
