Duties & Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data and sales data to make business decisions on stock replenishments, consolidations and buying.
- Category Management: Own assigned categories, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve category profitability and growth.
- Products Ownership and Merchandise Planning: Manage the creation, distribution, movement and sales of new and existing products across stores.
- Information dissemination: Provision of information on stock required for each season, management of different intake by department, class, and age range.
- Track and manage must-have assortments across assigned categories.
- Performance Analysis and reporting: Analyze performance of categories, products and vendors, sharing insights on growth.
- Track daily/weekly/monthly performance against target and forecast and provides weekly Sales Summary
- Price Management: Oversee the costing of products and maintain the accurate pricing of all products.
- Develops promotional and markdown strategy and ensure effective execution in season.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth merchandise flow from production, warehouse to stores, using analytics to enhance operational efficiency and support supply chain decisions. Vendor management: Liaise with foreign and local vendors, conclude on orders and prices and follow through till the products gets to the warehouse.
- Manage buying activities: Monitor OTB (Open-to-Buy) gaps and close them, while liaising with vendors to ensure timely procurement and alignment with business needs.
- Dashboards: Develop and maintain dashboards that guide business strategies and product lifecycle campaigns.
- Campaign calendar: Own and oversee the execution of seasonal and product campaigns
- Reports: Preparing business reports which include and not limited to the following: (Sell Through report, Stock cover report, Store visit report, Range plan, Product life cycle report, Inventory ageing report, Missed sales report)
Requirements
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in any other related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of retail fashion business: Deep understanding of premium retail and fashion retail.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), presentation tools, and ERPs systems especially Odoo
- Data Analysis & Modeling: Master of analysis and visualization tools like SQL, Power BI
