Job Summary




  • We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded HR Officer to support the full spectrum of human resource functions within a fast-paced HR consulting environment.

  • The ideal candidate is familiar with Nigerian labour law, experienced in managing end-to-end HR operations, and capable of handling multiple client accounts or internal HR mandates simultaneously.



Key Responsibilities




  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes — job posting, screening, interviewing, offer letters, and onboarding.

  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation in compliance with company policy.

  • Administer payroll inputs, leave management, and staff benefit coordination.

  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.

  • Handle employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and conflict resolution.

  • Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and support line managers in conducting reviews.

  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian Labour Law, Pension Reform Act, ITF, NSITF, and other statutory requirements.

  • Support learning & development initiatives; training needs analysis, scheduling, and post-training evaluation.



Requirements




  • B.Sc. / HND in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

  • 2 – 3 years of hands-on HR experience in a structured organisation or HR consulting firm.

  • Demonstrated experience across core HR functions: recruitment, employee relations, payroll admin, and performance management.

  • Membership of CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) is required or in view.
