A leading logistics and terminal operations company is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the maintenance, reliability, and operational performance of heavy lifting equipment, including cranes, reach stackers, and empty container handlers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the maintenance team responsible for lifting and material handling equipment.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for cranes, forklifts, reach stackers, empty handlers, and related equipment.
Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize downtime through effective maintenance planning.
Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with OEM maintenance standards and operational procedures.
Coordinate repairs, servicing, and parts replacement activities.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and performance reports.
Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
Ensure adherence to HSE policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and equipment manufacturers when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6–8 years' hands-on maintenance experience with Cranes, Empty Handler, Reach Stacker and related Equipment.
Proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting cranes, forklifts, reach stackers, empty handlers, and similar terminal equipment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical systems.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is required.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in maintenance reporting and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of safety regulations governing lifting equipment operations and maintenance.
