Overview




  • Our client, a leading chemical and specialty fluid management company in Lagos, is seeking a commercially astute and forward-thinking Strategy Manager to join its leadership team.

  • Ideal candidate will drive the development, execution, and monitoring of key initiatives that support the organization’s long-term vision.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute corporate and business unit strategies aligned with organizational objectives

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify opportunities and risks

  • Support leadership in strategic planning, transformation, and growth initiatives

  • Lead cross-functional projects that drive operational efficiency and execution

  • Build financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses for investment decisions

  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to track strategic progress

  • Prepare executive presentations and reports for management and board meetings

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships and expansion initiatives

  • Collaborate across teams (Finance, Marketing, Operations, Product) to ensure alignment.

Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (preferred)

  • 10 - 15 years’ experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate planning, or business analysis

  • Strong expertise in data analysis, financial modelling, and strategy frameworks

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and senior stakeholders.
