Job Purpose




  • To provide technical and administrative support in the design and execution of QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) projects, ensuring accuracy in drawings, compliance with standards, and effective coordination during project implementation.



Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

Design Support:




  • Assist in preparing architectural drawings, layouts, and basic design concepts for new outlets and renovations

  • Support space planning, including seating arrangements, kitchen layouts, and workflow optimization

  • Update and revise drawings based on feedback from senior architects and project managers

  • Ensure drawings comply with brand standards and specifications.



Project Coordination:




  • Support coordination with consultants (MEP, structural, etc.) to ensure completeness of design documentation

  • Assist in conducting site measurements, surveys, and documentation

  • Participate in site visits to monitor progress and report observations

  • Follow up with contractors and vendors on assigned tasks.



Documentation & Compliance:




  • Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approvals

  • Assist in preparing documents for regulatory submissions and approvals

  • Ensure proper filing and version control of all project documents

  • Support compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.



Administrative & Technical Support:




  • Provide general administrative support to the projects team as required

  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and project updates

  • Support tracking of project timelines, tasks, and deliverables

  • Assist in material selection and documentation under supervision.



Key Performance Indicators




  • Accuracy and timeliness of drawings and revisions

  • Adherence to project timelines and assigned tasks

  • Quality of documentation and record-keeping

  • Responsiveness to project coordination needs

  •  Reduction in errors requiring rework.



Requirements

Educational Requirements:




  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field.



Experience Requirements:




  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in architectural design or a related role (NYSC experience inclusive).



Knowledge Requirements:




  • Basic understanding of architectural design and drafting

  • Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.)

  • Basic knowledge of construction processes and materials

  • Awareness of building regulations and safety standards.
