Job Summary
- The Senior Driving Executive is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and professional transportation services for Management, staff, clients, and company operations.
- The role requires exceptional driving skills, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, vehicle maintenance, route planning, and a high level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability.
- The incumbent will ensure that assigned vehicles are properly maintained, compliant with regulatory requirements, and always available to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Driving and Transportation:
- Safely transport Management, staff, clients, and visitors as assigned.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off for official assignments.
- Plan and determine the most efficient travel routes to avoid delays.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company activities and discussions during official assignments.
Vehicle Management:
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after use.
- Ensure assigned vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times.
- Monitor vehicle servicing schedules and promptly report maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage, servicing, repairs, and vehicle documentation.
- Ensure validity of vehicle licenses, insurance, permits, and other regulatory documents.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with logistics and operational errands as assigned.
- Deliver official documents and parcels when required.
- Maintain proper records of trips and transportation activities.
- Provide support during corporate events, meetings, and official functions.
Safety and Compliance:
- Observe all safety procedures and defensive driving practices.
- Report accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage immediately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transportation procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate professionalism, discipline, and courtesy at all times.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timeliness of transportation assignments.
- Vehicle maintenance and cleanliness standards.
- Compliance with safety regulations.
- Number of accidents or traffic violations.
- Accuracy of vehicle records and reports.
- Management satisfaction with transportation services.
- Fuel efficiency and vehicle utilization.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
- OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Certification in Defensive Driving and Road Safety Training will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4–10 years' proven experience as a professional driver in a corporate organization, financial institution, government agency, logistics company, or multinational environment.
- Experience driving senior executives and management personnel is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience handling multiple vehicle types, including SUVs, executive sedans, and utility vehicles.

- Excellent driving skills and road safety awareness.
- Good knowledge of Lagos and interstate road networks.
- Basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
