We are looking for a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, going to Banks and providing excellent customer service. 



RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems.

  • Accept payments by cash, credit card, or other forms of payment.

  • Calculate and return change to customers accurately.

  • Going to Banks to deposit cheques and be involved in reconciliations.

  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

  • Answer customer questions and provide information about products or services.

  • Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and refunds.

  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service.

  • Adhere to safety and security guidelines.

  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.



QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:




  • B.Sc/HND Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration and other related discipline

  • Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.

  • Strong numerical and math/accounting skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.

  • Basic computer proficiency.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Team player with a positive attitude.

  • Dependability and reliability.

  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
