Job Summary
The Front Desk Officer is responsible for managing the reception area, welcoming visitors, handling incoming calls, providing administrative support, and ensuring smooth day-to-day front office operations. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and guests in a professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
- Manage appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
- Maintain visitor records and issue visitor passes when required.
- Respond to inquiries and provide accurate information to customers and staff.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and document management.
- Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth communication.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and other office documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures.
Required Qualifications
- OND in any relevant field.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
