Key Responsibilities

Credit Business Legal Compliance Management

•   Sort out and interpret local financial laws, regulations and industry supervision rules in Nigeria, formulate, revise and optimize credit business legal management systems, compliance guidelines and risk prevention mechanisms. Conduct regular legal compliance inspections on financing, lending, guarantee and credit approval links to eliminate operational legal risks.

Legal Document Review & Standardization

•   Responsible for the drafting, review and revision of all credit-related legal documents, including distributor financing agreements, loan contracts, mortgage pledge contracts, guarantee contracts, credit commitment letters and other supporting documents. Optimize standardized contract templates for supply chain finance and mortgage credit businesses, control contractual legal risks from the source.

​​​​​​​Post-loan Legal Disposal & Recourse

•   Provide legal support for overdue and non-performing credit assets. Guide the risk and operation teams in debt negotiation, repayment restructuring, collateral seizure, verification and disposal. Formulate legal recourse plans for default projects, maximize the recovery of non-performing assets and reduce business losses.


• Litigation & Arbitration Handling


•  Independently handle all credit-related legal disputes, litigation, arbitration and enforcement cases. Be responsible for case filing, evidence sorting, court response and follow-up enforcement work, and ensure the legitimate rights and interests of the company are protected. Cooperate with external law firms to manage outsourcing legal cases efficiently.

​​​​​​​Legal Risk Early Warning & Case Summary

•   Track typical legal risk cases in credit and supply chain financing businesses, summarize risk characteristics and pain points, and put forward targeted prevention and optimization suggestions. Conduct regular legal training for business and risk teams to improve the overall legal risk awareness of the team.

​​​​​​​Cross-departmental Legal Support

•   Provide professional legal consultation and support for credit product design, business policy iteration, customer access and risk mitigation schemes. Cooperate with risk control, sales and finance teams to balance business expansion and legal compliance.
