Job Summary
- The Business Development Manager (Deposit Mobilization) is responsible for driving the growth of the organization’s deposit portfolio through the acquisition and management of high-value customers, build strategic relationship, and the implement f effective deposit mobilization strategies.
- The role focuses on sourcing deposits from high network individuals, corporate organizations, associations, institutions, and other target markets to achieve business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to mobilize deposits and achieve assigned deposit targets.
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers for savings, fixed deposit, and investment products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Organize and participate in marketing campaigns, networking events, and customer engagement activities.
- Cross-sell the company’s products and services to existing and potential customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in deposit mobilization, sales, marketing, or business development within the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of achieving deposit mobilization targets.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
