his is a full-time, on-site Product Manager role based in Ibadan. The Product Manager will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of digital financial products, from concept and discovery through launch and iteration. Responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing customer and business requirements, defining product roadmaps, and translating needs into clear user stories and specifications for cross-functional teams.
The person in this role will collaborate closely with engineering, design, data, operations, and marketing to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
The Product Manager will monitor product performance, analyze user feedback and data, run experiments, and continuously refine the product to improve adoption, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven experience in product management, product ownership, or a similar role in a technology or fintech environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with data analysis, experimentation, and metrics-driven decision-making.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, marketing) and managing stakeholder expectations.
Ability to translate customer insights and business goals into clear product requirements, user stories, and roadmaps.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around a shared product vision.
Familiarity with agile or lean product development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
Understanding of digital financial services, fintech, or consumer-facing digital platforms is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work on-site in Ibadan, with strong organizational skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
