  • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team in Abuja.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting overall financial operations.

  • This role requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes

  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting

  • Prepare payroll schedules and ensure timely disbursement

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies

  • Handle invoicing, expense tracking, and financial documentation

  • Support internal and external audits

  • Maintain proper filing systems for financial documents (digital and physical)

  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and financial institutions when necessary



Requirements & Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar role

  • Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, Wave, or similar tools)

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
