Responsibilities




  • Develop and achieve the sales volume/revenue goals as defined in the business plan

  • Generate & close leads by identifying potential clients, engaging prospects, presenting solutions, and finalizing deals to achieve sales targets.

  • Tracking key sales metrics, analysing performance, and preparing timely and accurate reports for management.

  • Creating and sending proposals, quotes, and other sales documentation to clients.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing clients to foster trust and loyalty.

  • Maintaining accurate and organized records of sales activities, client interactions and leads in the CRM system.

  • Prompt reporting of activities to the supervisor.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication, align sales strategies with business objectives, and provide comprehensive support for customer needs and service delivery.

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Team to ensure strategic marketing awareness and marketing initiatives across the region.

  • Developing Initiative to push sales and product awareness of the company’s products and services.

  • Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage and availability of company products in the market, competitors’ activities, and look for new business opportunities.

  • Meeting stakeholders in the oil and gas sector.

  • Attending industry events, conferences and tradeshows to enhance brand visibility, network, and generate leads.

  • Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).



Requirements




  • B.Sc. Degree Or HND in any field

  • 3 -5 years sales experience in the oil and gas sector or B2B sales experience

  • Existing customer base in the relevant industry is an advantage.

  • Willing to travel around Northern Nigeria 40%

  • Must have very good knowledge of the Northern region.

  • Candidate must reside in Abuja

  • Must have a good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft office packages

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge on occupational health and safety.
