We are seeking a courteous, reliable, and professional Hotel Porter to join our team.
The Hotel Porter is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, escorting guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities, and ensuring a welcoming and positive guest experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
Assist guests with carrying and transporting luggage to and from their rooms.
Escort guests to their rooms and explain hotel amenities and services.
Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
Assist with loading and unloading guest belongings from vehicles.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms when required.
Provide directions and information about local attractions, transportation, and hotel facilities.
Support the front desk and other departments as needed.
Ensure guest safety and security by following hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE / High School Certificate or equivalent.
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Physical ability to lift and carry luggage.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Good knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
