Job Summary




  • A financial services company is seeking a business-oriented and result-driven senior marketing officer to oversee the company’s ongoing marketing operation and drive strategic initiatives that align with business goals.

  • The candidate will play a crucial role in scaling the organization, attracting loans and deposits from prospects, enhancing efficiency, and implementing operational excellence across the business development departments.



Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns aligned with business objectives.

  • Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new opportunities.

  • Plan and coordinate promotional events, sponsorships, and brand activations.

  • Oversee the production of marketing materials (brochures, flyers, presentations, etc.).

  • Maintain and update the company website and social media accounts.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to generate leads and support business development.

  • Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement the company’s strategic goals and objectives



Requirements & Qualifications




  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or related field

  • 6 to 8 years of experience and 2 years in a senior level.

  • MBA or master’s degree within this field is an added advantage

  • Experience within a fintech industry will be preferred

  • Experience working in a banking sector is required.

  • Proven track records of scaling organizations and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, marketing, and performance management.

  • Excellent marketing, leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • The candidate must have a good understanding of financial regulations, lending, blockchain, digital payment, or related sectors.

  • The candidate must be currently working on the island within a financial institution. Candidates with experience in marketing, an MBA, or a master’s degree will have an added advantage given the sector’s fast-paced, regulatory, and technology-driven nature.
