Description




  • We are seeking a responsible and organized individual to manage inventory and store operations for our retail business.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and monitoring inventory while ensuring proper record.



Key Responsibilities




  • Receive and inspect all items delivered to the store.

  • Verify quantities and quality of items received against purchase orders and delivery notes.

  • Properly store food items and other materials according to company standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, transferred, and returned.

  • Monitor stock levels and report low stock items promptly.

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.

  • Ensure First-In-First-Out (FIFO) procedures are followed, especially for perishable items.

  • Monitor expiry dates and report products nearing expiration.

  • Prepare inventory and stock movement reports as required.

  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the store area.

  • Ensure proper security of all inventory under your custody.

  • Work closely with kitchen, production, purchasing, and teams.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.



Requirements




  • Minimum of OND or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Officer, or similar role.

  • Experience in an eatery, fast-food outlet, food production environment or any retail business will be an added advantage.



Other Requirements:




  • Must be physically fit and able to handle stock movement when necessary.

  • Must possess a high level of honesty and integrity.

  • Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts when required.

  • Candidates residing within or close to the job location will be preferred.



Required Skills:




  • Good inventory management and stock control skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to maintain proper records and documentation.

  • Good organizational skills.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong integrity and accountability.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
