Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
- The Architect is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, coordinating and supervising the delivery of world-class luxury residential and mixed-use developments. The role ensures that all architectural solutions align with Sujimoto's commitment to innovation, excellence, sustainability and premium luxury standards.
- The Architect will collaborate with consultants, contractors, engineers, project managers and stakeholders to deliver iconic developments that meet both aesthetic and commercial objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Architectural Design
- Develop innovative architectural concepts and luxury design solutions.
- Prepare architectural drawings, specifications, presentations and construction documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations, international standards and company requirements.
- Produce detailed design development packages and construction drawings.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical and interior design consultants.
- Review consultant drawings for design integration and constructability.
- Participate in project planning meetings and design reviews.
- Support project managers throughout project execution.
Construction Administration
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with approved designs.
- Review contractor submissions and shop drawings.
- Address architectural issues arising during construction.
- Monitor quality standards throughout project delivery.
Regulatory Compliance
- Obtain and manage statutory approvals and permits.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and professional bodies.
- Ensure compliance with planning regulations and building codes.
Design Quality Assurance
- Maintain Sujimoto's luxury design standards across all developments.
- Review materials, finishes and specifications.
- Ensure architectural excellence and attention to detail.
- Recommend innovative design technologies and sustainable solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Present design concepts to management and investors.
- Participate in client meetings and project presentations.
- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors.
Experience
- Minimum of 5–8 years architectural experience.
- Experience in luxury residential, hospitality or high-rise developments.
- Proven portfolio of premium projects.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams.
