Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused City Head to oversee sales operations, distributor management, and market development activities for our Oil and Seasoning categories within the assigned city.
- The ideal candidate will drive business growth, improve market share, and ensure flawless execution of sales strategies.
Responsibilities
Core Deliverables:
- Deliver sales, distribution, and profitability targets for the assigned city.
- Drive market expansion and increase product penetration across all trade channels.
- Manage distributor performance and ensure achievement of agreed KPIs.
- Lead and coordinate Area Sales Managers and Field Executives within the city.
- Ensure availability, visibility, and accessibility of company products.
- Develop strategic plans to increase market share and revenue growth.
- Monitor sales trends and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Strengthen customer and stakeholder relationships across the territory.
Other Job Functions:
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and business performance reviews.
- Conduct market assessments and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend market response strategies.
- Lead trade marketing execution and promotional activities.
- Coordinate training and development programs for the sales team.
- Manage key accounts and high-value distributor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of FMCG sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in Oil, Edible Oils, Soya Oil, Palm Oil, Seasoning, or Food Categories.
- Proven ability to manage distributors, teams, and large territories.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in sales reporting and performance analytics.
- Must be willing to travel within assigned locations.
