 DKT NIGERIA is set to recruit a Social Media Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s social media strategy to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and online presence. The role involves creating compelling content, managing social media platforms, monitoring performance, and driving audience growth in alignment with business objectives.



Key accountabilities/responsibilities




  • Develop and execute social media strategies across relevant platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. 

  • Create, curate, and manage engaging content including posts, videos, graphics, and campaigns. 

  • Manage daily social media activities, including scheduling, publishing, and community engagement. 

  • Monitor social media trends, audience insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. 

  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 

  • Track, analyse, and report social media performance metrics and campaign effectiveness. 

  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and other teams to align content with organizational goals. 

  • Support digital campaigns, product promotions, and brand initiatives. 

  • Maintain consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all platforms. 

  • Stay updated on emerging social media tools, trends, and best practices. 



Qualification/Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field. 

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Content Creator, or similar role. 

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and other digital channels. 

  • Excellent content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills. 

  • Ability to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for content creation, research, audience insights, social media optimization, and improving workflow efficiency. 

  • Experience with social media management tools, analytics platforms, and digital content tools. 

  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are an advantage. 

  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects. 

  • Good communication and organizational skills.
