Job Summary




  • Developing and executing accurate budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic financial decision making. This is to ensure effective allocation of resources, cost optimization and alignment of financial plans.



Key Responsibilities




  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts across business units.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement

  • Assist in monthly and quarterly financial reporting to management and stakeholders.

  • Support business units in financial planning, target setting, and performance tracking.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and ensure data accuracy.

  • Monitor key financial indicators and assist with the preparation of management dashboards.

  • Participate in business case development and investment appraisals.

  • Ensure financial plans align with corporate objectives and market realities.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required data and analysis.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Professional Certification in Accounting (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CFA or similar) is required

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, or analysis.

  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies

  • Demonstrable experience in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
