Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of school facilities and equipment.


• Carry out basic repairs and coordinate major maintenance works.


• Monitor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility maintenance needs.


• Ensure classrooms, offices, and common areas are maintained to a high standard.


• Supervise external contractors and service providers where necessary.


• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory of tools and supplies.


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Building Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.


• Minimum of 3 years relevant maintenance experience.


• Practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.


• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.


• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to maintenance issues.


• Previous experience in a school or similar environment is an added advantage.
