Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the organization's financial operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate accounting records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with budgeting and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records and statements.
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Process payroll and related statutory deductions where applicable.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAN is preferred.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (depending on the role level).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
