Role Overview
- We are seeking highly active, sales-driven individuals who can consistently generate daily and weekly courier business opportunities.
- Please note: this is not a theoretical “business development” role focused on meetings or presentations. The ideal candidate must already understand how courier business is generated in practice and must be able to actively source and convert clients on a daily basis.
We are Looking For People Who Can Source:
Companies sending envelopes and documents daily:
- Law firms
- Hospitals and laboratories
- Banks and financial institutions
- Schools and universities
- E-commerce vendors
- SMEs and offices
- Import/export companies needing document dispatch
- Companies requiring regular inter-state document delivery
- Walk-in and repeat courier customers
- Small businesses requiring same-day or next-day dispatch
Core Responsibilities
- Source new courier clients daily
- Visit offices and businesses physically
- Introduce PNCE courier services professionally
- Follow up aggressively on leads
- Convert prospects into paying clients
- Maintain relationships with existing clients
- Report daily activities and visits
- Generate measurable shipment volumes
- Work closely with operations to ensure customer satisfaction
- Develop practical ideas to increase delivery volumes
Required Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in courier, dispatch, logistics, sales, marketing, or field operations
- Confidence speaking with businesses
- Physically active and willing to move around Lagos
- Result-oriented mentality
- Basic customer relationship management skills
- Good communication ability
- Discipline and accountability
- Candidates with existing contacts within SMEs, legal firms, medical laboratories, online vendors, and corporate offices will have an advantage.
We Are Not Looking For:
- Corporate executives expecting luxury salaries
- People only interested in titles
- Candidates with unrealistic expectations
- Individuals looking for “big logistics contracts” outside the scope of courier operations
- Persons who only know how to talk but cannot bring customers
- Candidates attracted only by employment/salary without performance focus
Evaluation Criteria (Post-Placement):
- Number of new clients introduced
- Volume of shipments generated
- Monthly revenue contribution
- Consistency of customer follow-up
- Ability to grow repeat business
