Responsibilities

As a shortlet Supervisor:




  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of short-term rental units

  • Ensure properties are clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready at all times.

  • Track and Manage utility bills like power, internet, DSTV etc.

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs (virtually or in person).

  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, complaints, or emergencies.

  • Coordinate and supervise cleaning, laundry, and maintenance teams.

  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies or issues.

  • Track inventory of supplies and restock as needed.

  • Schedule and manage bookings on different platform to maximize occupancy and revenue.

  • Monitor online platforms e.g Airbnd, booking.com etc and update listings with accurate information and appealing visuals.

  • Maintain guest satisfaction through excellent hospitality and communication.

  • Prepare monthly reports on property performance, including income, expenses, and reviews.



As an Inventory Supervisor:




  • Track and Update on the system inventory record daily to reflect purchase information

  • Share all sales information from store with the Procurement Accountant

  • Compare available goods with market trends and determine the right pricing

  • Managing and keeping track of shipment, delivery, and fulfillment.

  • Optimize inventory control procedures and processes.

  • Inspect business supplies and raw materials to identify possible shortages, damages and avoid them.

  • Ensure adequate product stock for every possible distribution channel to cover direct demand from customers.

  • Keep accurate records of daily deliveries and shipments and replenish inventory when necessary.

  • Monitor inventory demand and inventory characteristics.

  • Place orders to keep track of and replenish stock when necessary to avoid a shortage of stock or surplus.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with other supply chain professionals to ensure that goals are met on time.

  • Report and keep upper management up-to-date on stock levels, issues, etc
