Salary: ₦12,000,000 net annually + commission



Our client is seeking a commercially driven Lead, Client Engagement & Business Development to drive new business, grow client relationships, and support revenue expansion across HR consulting, recruitment, learning, performance management, culture transformation, and workforce advisory services.



Key Responsibilities




  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline

  • Convert prospects into paying clients

  • Manage relationships with CEOs, HR Leaders, executives, and procurement teams

  • Follow up on proposals and support deal closure

  • Work with consultants to develop client proposals

  • Grow existing accounts and drive repeat business

  • Maintain weekly sales and pipeline reports



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales, business development, consulting sales, HR services, recruitment, training, or professional services

  • Proven ability to generate and close business

  • Strong relationship management, networking, proposal, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills

  • Ability to engage senior decision-makers confidently

  • Understanding of HR consulting or professional services will be an advantage



The ideal candidate must be commercially driven, professional, confident, disciplined, target-oriented, and able to sell solutions; not just services.
