Job Summary
- The Direct Sales Agent (DSA) is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s products or services directly to customers through field and/or indoor sales activities. The role involves identifying potential customers, generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve set sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential customers to promote products/services
- Generate and convert leads into sales opportunities
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
- Conduct product presentations and explain features/benefits to customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Follow up on leads and ensure closure of sales
- Accurately complete and submit all required sales documentation
- Maintain proper records of daily sales activities and reports
- Provide market feedback, including competitor activities and customer insights
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly sales targets
- Number of new customers acquired
- Conversion rate (leads to sales)
- Revenue generated
- Customer retention and satisfaction levels
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of [OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree] in any relevant field
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or customer service (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to persuade and negotiate effectively
- Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of sales tools or CRM systems is an added advantage
