Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Targets:
- Develop and execute national sales plan to achieve revenue, volume, and margin targetsForecast demand, set quarterly/annual KPIs, and track performance vs budget
Team Leadership:
- Train, and manage regional sales managers, supervisors, and field reps
- Drive a performance culture through coaching, incentives, and sales reviews
Distribution & Key Accounts:
- Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, modern trade, and e-commerce partners
Market Development:
- Expand coverage in priority regions: Lagos, Abuja, PH, Kano, and emerging trade channels
Trade Marketing & Execution:
- Work with marketing to ensure in-store visibility, merchandising, and promotional complianceMonitor competitor activity on pricing, launches, and shelf share
Reporting & Compliance:
- Provide weekly/monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and market insights to MDEnsure compliance with NAFDAC guidelines and company SOPs
Requirements
- Education: BSc/HND in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is an advantage
- Experience:10+ years FMCG sales, with 5+ years in a national/regional manager role. Beauty, hair care, or personal hygiene experience is a strong plus
- Track Record: Proven success growing distribution and managing ₦1B+ annual sales portfolios
- Skills: Strong negotiation, distributor management, data analysis, and team leadership
- Location: Must be based in Lagos
- Other: Excellent command of English, advanced Excel, and CRM tools.
