About The Role
- As a Business Adviser, you will work closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic guidance. Your expertise will enable clients to develop robust business plans, navigate financial challenges, and implement effective marketing strategies. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential barriers and delivering innovative solutions that align with each client's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Advise clients on business planning, financial management, marketing, and operational improvement.
- Support clients in accessing funding opportunities, grants, and other financial resources.
- Develop and deliver workshops, seminars, and resources that enhance client knowledge and skills.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and act as their advocate within the business community.
- Produce regular reports on client progress and program outcomes.
Person Specification
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and inspire confidence in a diverse client base. You should be organised, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Previous experience in business development, consultancy, or a related field will be highly advantageous.
