ROLE SUMMARY
The Engineer Store Keeper shall be responsible for the inventory management of spare parts and maintenance materials in the Engineering Store.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day inventory and stock control using Oracle Fusion (ERP) and manual records where applicable.
- Oversee and coordinate daily and monthly stock count activities.
- Ensure materials and spare parts are accurately received into and issued from the store in a timely manner.
- Participate in audit stock count activities to ensure the store operates efficiently and inventory records are accurate.
- Maintain receipts, records, and stock withdrawals using Oracle Fusion.
- Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure adequate record-keeping and maintain proper inventory control documentation.
- Adhere to safety procedures related to maintenance, engineering, and operational activities.
- Participate in maintenance safety training and provide support to engineering team members as required.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- OND in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in computer operations.
- Relevant technical certification or trade qualification (e.g., NABTEB or City & Guilds) will be an added advantage.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in using ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and identify engineering spare parts.
