We are seeking a smart, confident, and results-driven Business Development Officer (Female) to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing key business relationships, and securing supplier and client contracts.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding the company’s network, negotiating partnerships, and contributing to revenue growth within the logistics, procurement, and supply industry.
This role requires a proactive professional with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills who can thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
Build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and strategic partners.
Source, negotiate, and secure supplier contracts that align with the company’s business objectives.
Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations.
Negotiate contract terms and close business deals effectively.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client and supplier engagements.
Monitor customer satisfaction and maintain long-term business relationships.
Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of prospects and provide regular business development reports.
Represent the company professionally at meetings, networking events, and business engagements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, procurement, or relationship management.
Female applicants are preferred for this role.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Proven ability to build and sustain business relationships.
Experience in supplier engagement, contract negotiation, or procurement is an added advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and achieve business targets.
