Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, staircases, offices, meeting rooms, and other assigned areas.
- Ensure public areas are clean, sanitary, and well-presented at all times.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces.
- Replenish restroom supplies and maintain cleanliness of public washrooms.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and lost or found items promptly.
- Dispose of waste and ensure proper waste segregation in line with hotel standards.
- Assist with deep-cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping or public area cleaning in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and operate cleaning equipment.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with hotel operating systems
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
- Certification in infection control, hygiene, or environmental sustainability
