Role Summary
- The Production Packaging Assistant is responsible for proper packaging, labeling, portioning, and presentation of meals produced at the Central Kitchen. The role ensures that all meals leaving the kitchen meet the company’s quality, hygiene, speed, and presentation standards before delivery to customers, corporates, outlets, and events.
Core Responsibilities
- Package meals according to approved packaging standards.
- Ensure correct portion sizes are maintained consistently.
- Ensure meals are sealed, labeled, and arranged properly before dispatch.
- Check food appearance and packaging quality before handover.
- Assist in preparing bulk orders, corporate orders, and event packaging.
- Ensure packaging materials are available and organized before production starts.
- Report damaged packaging materials or shortages immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness of packaging stations and surrounding areas.
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards strictly at all times.
- Support smooth coordination between production, logistics, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure speed and accuracy during high volume production periods.
- Avoid wastage of packaging materials and food items.
- Resume work on time and maintain readiness before operations begin.
- Work closely with QA and Supervisors during inspections and checks.
- Protect the brand through excellent presentation and packaging standards.

Requirements
- Previous Production packaging or kitchen experience is an advantage. Minimum of SSCE, OND,
- Ability to work in a fast paced production environment.
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Must be disciplined, hardworking, and detail oriented.
- Ability to stand for long hours and work under pressure.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays when required.
