Takes full ownership of theCenter's P&L, driving revenue growth and achieving/exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develops and executes a center-level sales and business development strategy, including walk-in retail sales, trade/contractor sales, and institutional/project sales.
Leads, motivates, trains, and supervises theCenter sales, customer service, and support team to deliver excellent customer experience and consistent sales performance.
Builds and manages relationships with architects, interior designers, real estate developers, contractors, and high-value individual and corporate clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Oversees color consultation and visualization services, ensuring staff are well trained on color trends, product application, and the company's digital color tools.
Manages inventory and stock levels at the center, coordinating with supply chain/warehouse teams to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts or overstocking.
Ensures the Experience Center's visual merchandising, product displays, and showroom layout meet approved brand and design standards at all times.
Plans and coordinates in-center events, product launches, promotions, and activations in collaboration with the Marketing team to drive traffic and brand engagement.
Monitors and analyzes sales data, customer feedback, and center performance metrics; prepares regular reports and recommendations for senior management.
Manages theCenter's operating budget, including staffing costs, utilities, maintenance, and marketing spend, ensuring cost efficiency.
Handles escalated customer complaints and service recovery, ensuring timely resolution and protection of the company's brand reputation.
Conducts periodic competitor and market intelligence gathering within the Lekki/Lagos retail corridor to inform pricing, positioning, and promotional strategy.
Acts as the face of the brand at theCenter, representing the company professionally to VIP clients, partners, and visitors.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field from a reputable and accredited university.
An MBA or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in retail sales, showroom/experience center management, or trade sales, ideally within paints, building materials, FMCG, or a related consumer-facing industry.
Knowledge requirements:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
Good understanding of retail/showroom operations, CRM and POS systems.
Good understanding of paint/coatings products, color technology, and application trends.
