Job Summary




  • The Administrative Officer will support Lextorah’s daily operations by managing administrative processes, student support, academic coordination, office management, and basic accounting functions.

  • The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.



Responsibilities

Administrative & Academic Operations:




  • Coordinate class schedules, tutor timetables, and make-up classes.

  • Maintain student records, course documentation, and administrative files.

  • Track student progression and follow up with students due for the next level.

  • Issue course confirmations and other student documentation.

  • Monitor tutor attendance, course audit sheets, and student progress trackers.

  • Support smooth delivery of daily academic operations.



Student Support & Customer Service:




  • Attend to walk-in clients and respond to enquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.

  • Follow up with prospective students and support student registration.

  • Handle student concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary.



Office Administration:




  • Manage office resources, including stationery, textbooks, and other supplies.

  • Maintain proper filing and documentation systems.

  • Support general office operations and assigned administrative tasks.



Accounting Support;




  • Record and track student payments.

  • Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.

  • Maintain financial records and support basic reconciliations.

  • Assist with petty cash records, expense tracking, and other finance-related tasks.



Requirements




  • Bachelor's Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Background or experience in accounting is required.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration, customer service, or related roles.

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to  work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Applicants must be available to work Monday to Saturday

  • Applicants must reside within Yaba or its immediate environs.
