  • The ideal candidate will partner with leadership to strengthen organizational culture, improve employee engagement, oversee performance management, ensure HR compliance, and implement people initiatives that support business growth. This role requires a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to manage day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Drive employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

  • Partner with managers to improve employee performance, development, and productivity.

  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development initiatives.

  • Manage employee relations matters and resolve workplace conflicts professionally and confidentially.

  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws, HR policies, and internal procedures.

  • Analyze HR data and metrics to provide actionable insights that support business decisions.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, employee retention, and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Serve as a trusted HR business partner to leadership on people-related matters.

  • Develop and implement HR policies and initiatives that align with organizational goals.

  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.

  • Requirements





Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.

  • CIPM certification is an added advantage but not mandatory.

  • 3-5 years of relevant Human Resources experience, with proven experience in HR operations, employee engagement, and performance management, preferably in a fintech or startup environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Highly proactive, energetic, and execution-focused.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Data-driven with experience using HR metrics to support decision-making.

  • Sound knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and HR best practices.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
