The Django Full Stack Developer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that support Hitech’s engineering, project management, and operational workflows.
This full-time role is on-site in Nigeria, working closely with construction, engineering, and administrative teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include building and optimizing Django-based back-end services, implementing responsive front-end interfaces, integrating databases and APIs, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability of internal and external systems.
The developer will also participate in code reviews, create technical documentation, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and support troubleshooting and enhancements for existing applications.
The role requires a proactive approach to improving systems that streamline project delivery and support Hitech’s ongoing innovation in construction technology.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong back-end web development skills, including Django, Python, RESTful API design, and database integration (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Candidates should possess front-end development skills, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar).
Candidates should possess skills in version control and deployment, including Git workflows, CI/CD practices, and experience with cloud or on-premise hosting environments.
Candidates should possess skills related to software quality, including testing (unit, integration), debugging, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
Candidates should possess skills in system design and collaboration, including translating requirements into technical specifications, documenting solutions, and working effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in full stack development.
Beneficial experience includes working in construction, engineering, or infrastructure-focused organizations, familiarity with ERP or project management systems, and knowledge of data visualization or reporting tools.
