We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive both strategic and operational HR initiatives across the organization.
The ideal candidate will partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives, oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, policy implementation, and foster a high-performance culture across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with department heads to implement HR strategies that support business goals.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Drive performance management processes and coach managers on employee development.
Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory requirements.
Support compensation, benefits administration, and HR systems implementation.
Develop and implement employee engagement and culture initiatives.
Maintain accurate HR records, policies, and documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM-CP, PHRi, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5–7 years of HR experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in manufacturing, retail, or other operational environments is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and statutory compliance.
Excellent communication, leadership, employee relations, and problem-solving skills.
