  • As a member of our academic team, you will be responsible for creating an engaging, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where pupils are encouraged to think critically, solve problems, collaborate effectively, and develop a genuine love for learning.



Key Responsibilities




  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons that meet curriculum objectives.

  • Inspire pupils to achieve high academic standards while supporting their social, emotional, and moral development.

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and child-centered classroom environment that promotes curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking.

  • Maintain effective classroom management and positive pupil behaviour.

  • Assess, record, monitor, and report pupils' progress accurately and professionally.

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs of all pupils.

  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom practice.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

  • Participate actively in school programmes, extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.

  • Uphold the school's safeguarding policies, values, and commitment to child protection.



Requirements




  • A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related discipline.

  • A PGDE and TRCN certification will be an added advantage.

  • Relevant teaching experience in a reputable Nursery or Primary School.

  • Classroom support experience is desirable for Assistant Teacher applicants.

  • Excellent knowledge of the British and Nigerian curricula.

  • Outstanding classroom management and lesson delivery skills.

  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.

  • A confident, energetic, and professional personality.

  • A genuine passion for teaching and working with children.

  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem solving skills.

  • Sound ICT skills and the ability to effectively use educational technology.

  • High ethical standards, integrity, accountability, and a strong sense of responsibility.

  • A growth mindset with a willingness to learn, innovate, and continuously improve.
