They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join their team as an Accountant.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Job Responsibilities
Act as the primary finance liaison between office staff and senior management.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and the General Ledger.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income/expenditure statements.
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax reports.
Process payroll accounting and maintain accurate payroll records.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, minimize losses, and enhance revenue generation.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years' post-graduation accounting experience.
Recognized professional accounting qualification.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets, and Google Docs.
Experience in change management is desirable.
Previous experience in a professional services environment is an added advantage.
